TPU performance
The thermoplastic elastomer represented by TPU and TPE is a new concept and multi-functional material. It has more superior performance than general-purpose plastics and has attracted great attention. It started late around 1960. However, it has become the pride of the new material science in the 21st century and will have great room for development.
TPU has eight superior features compared to general purpose plastics:
• Strong wear resistance
• Strong tear resistance
• Excellent bending performance
• High tensile strength and elongation at break
• Low temperature resistance 3535-50°C and high temperature resistance 150°C
• Long-term compression deformation rate is low
• Oil resistant, lubricating oil and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents
• Resistant to aging resistance to oxygen and ozone
